Program Overview

This career path is for those who want to be a network administrator, that is, one in charge of designing, building, securing, overseeing, and maintaining networks. This can be done in a corporate environment or through businesses that manage customer networks. People in this career need to be well-versed in both hardware and software-defined networking and need to have a solid understanding of possible network attacks and how to thwart them. Some in this career pursue a general networking administration position while others become more specialized, an example being a Cisco administrator, which is a position in which one manages Cisco devices.
